Soul Octopus is proud to be a supporter of the inaugural SurfAid Cup in Santa Cruz, CA.
This surf contest is to raise funds to help save the lives of women and children in remote areas of Indonesia, areas connected to us by surfing.
On Saturday, April 23rd at Pleasure Point, 10 teams will be vying to be crowned the SurfAid Cup Champions. Two teams are still open and you could be one of the lucky few to surf with the likes of the legendary Wingnut Weaver, Maverick’s regulars Shawn Dollar and Tyler Fox, local legend and former pro Bob Pearson, long time SurfAid supporter and surf culture icon, Allen Sarlo and pro Pascal Stansfield to name a few.

You got that right, Bangsy!
As if the guy on the right even has to say anything.
The new 5'9" Angel Shark for Happy the shih tzu surf puppy. Equipped with unreasonable speed channels, full flight wings, mind-bending dimensions, and a quad-fin shark tail.
...And another one for Flash Ben (he's a human).

The ever stylish and sophisticated Sea Soul 10'x2" square tail longboard with power band.
The other Neil Diamond was our winner of the surfboard given away during the raffle for our Help a Brother Out event. Neil was so overjoyed when his number was called that he burst out into song, singing, "...and the load doesn't weigh me down at all, he ain't heavy, he's my brother!"
Congrats on your new board Neil!
Check out this new board for one lucky kid. The front is bright, and fresh with an all organic, pesticide-free bunch of grapes.
The back is loaded with sugar and bursting with amazing grape flavor.
